Whether you are new to living gluten free or an old hat, there is more we are learning every day about hidden sources of gluten.
It’s not as simple as reading the product label and not seeing gluten or wheat spelled out, or just asking your server at a restaurant if there’s gluten in the dish you want to order.
Most product labels aren’t going to say, “There’s Gluten in here!” and the restaurant that prepared your meal may have unknowingly put hidden sources of gluten in your meal, such as flour or soy sauce. Or they may not have put gluten directly in your food, but may have cross contaminated it in the kitchen without even thinking that they did.
If you are gluten sensitive and you leave your own kitchen, at some point, you’re going to get GLUTENED! It’s almost impossible not to.
So what do you do about it?
